Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
I have been a licensed EMDR therapist in Fort Lauderdale for over 17 years. I utilize EMDR with about 85% of my clientele because of its wide range of effectiveness and rapid ability to help clients heal their struggles. Depending on the client’s needs EMDR will be used on its own or combined with other Energy Psychology techniques.
This will be custom-designed for you using some biofeedback methods to determine what is best suited for you during each appointment.

What does EMDR help with? Studies show EMDR is scientifically effective for anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, improving self-esteem, resolving stressful life events, and breaking negative thoughts and behavior patterns. I find EMDR is also very effective in countless ways when used with other holistic approaches as hypnotherapy, imagery, NLP, or other mind-body healing techniques.
I cannot say enough about EMDR, its effectiveness, and its far-reaching healing abilities. It is an extremely powerful technique. As an established EMDR therapist in Fort Lauderdale I use this technique for trauma (violence/abuse, accidents, abandonment) and in treating anxiety, addictive behaviors, anger, stress management, relationship enrichment, self-esteem, increasing creativity flow development, depression, breaking old patterns, getting unstuck, break resistance both professionally and personally, physical illnesses, painful experiences both current or past, loss and grief, performance enhancement (athletic, academic, professional, general), avoidance behaviors, procrastination, and indecision.
EMDR is similar in ways to these other known psychology methods like
Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Eriksonian therapy, Existential therapy, Gestalt therapy, Humanistic therapy, Jungian therapy, Mind-body/holistic therapy, Mindfulness therapy, Neuropsychology, Solution-focused therapy, and Imago therapy to name a few. I have a background in all the above modalities, therefore EMDR is another specialized area similar to many of these.
